    About the Role:

    The Care Worker role at Sandbanks Day Centre involves providing high-quality care to adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism, and older individuals living with dementia. Responsibilities include developing and implementing care plans, engaging residents in tailored activities, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring the safety and well-being of residents. This position is available in both full-time and part-time capacities, with working hours Monday to Friday.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide personalized care to residents, supporting their independence and dignity
    • Assist in developing and implementing care plans
    • Engage residents in meaningful activities tailored to their needs
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, social workers, and the Positive Behaviour Support Team
    • Maintain accurate records and reports on residents’ progress and needs
    • Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times

    Other Details:

    • The position offers flexibility in working hours with both full-time and part-time options available.
    • A comprehensive induction and training program is provided to all new employees.
