    Salary Details:

    • The salary range for this role is £105,390 – £131,964 per annum. The Trust is in the process of revising the consultant salary range, which will apply to this position once finalized.

    About the Role:

    The Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist will provide leadership at the Red Kite View Adolescent Inpatient Unit, which supports young individuals with significant psychiatric, psychological, or emotional difficulties. The role involves working closely with community mental health teams and other service providers to enhance young people’s mental health across West Yorkshire.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and support the clinical team in delivering high-quality patient care
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve mental health services
    • Participate in and contribute to service development and research
    • Provide teaching and training to medical staff and trainees
    • Engage in leadership and mentoring within the department

    Other Details:

    • Flexibility in working hours and arrangements may be considered
    • The role involves on-call duties and participation in out-of-hours services
    • Applicants must have appropriate UK professional registration
