    The salary for this position is within Band 3, ranging from £23,399 to £25,213, depending on experience and qualifications.

    About the Role

    As a Healthcare Assistant at St Gemma’s Hospice, they will be responsible for providing compassionate care to patients with life-limiting illnesses. Working across the In-Patient Unit, which includes two wards, they will be part of a multidisciplinary team supporting patients and their families. The role requires individuals who are not only skilled but also dedicated to maintaining the high standards of care that St Gemma’s is known for.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist with personal care and daily living activities for patients
    • Support nursing staff in delivering clinical care
    • Provide emotional support to patients and their families
    • Ensure patient comfort and dignity at all times
    • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
    • Participate in team meetings and training sessions
