Job Description

InSoft Solutions is seeking a skilled Indian Cuisine Chef with exceptional grilling abilities to join their dynamic team. The role involves preparing a diverse range of Indian dishes while ensuring high standards of taste and presentation. Responsibilities include utilizing grilling techniques to cook tandoori dishes and other grilled items, developing and refining recipes, maintaining kitchen efficiency, overseeing and training staff, managing inventory, and collaborating with the management team to enhance the menu. The chef will also handle customer feedback professionally and ensure compliance with food safety standards.

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: At least 5 years as a chef specializing in Indian cuisine, with a strong background in grilling techniques.
• Grill Skills: Expertise in using tandoors, grills, and other equipment for grilling.
• Culinary Certification: Preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of traditional Indian spices, herbs, and cooking methods.
• Creativity: Ability to innovate while maintaining authentic Indian flavors.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on food presentation and quality control.
• Leadership: Proven experience in managing and training kitchen staff.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Hygiene and Safety: Comprehensive knowledge of UK food safety standards.
• Flexibility: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Compensation

• Salary: £22,000 – £28,000 per year
