The Kitchen Assistant plays a vital role in maintaining a high standard of catering under the guidance of the Chef/Manager. The role involves assisting in meal preparation, ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen, and following all safety protocols. They also participate in training and may assist with serving refreshments to residents, making this a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about care.Key Responsibilities
- Assist in meal preparation
- Follow the kitchen cleaning schedule
- Participate in training as required
- Operate the dishwasher and wash non-machine-suitable utensils
- Report any defective equipment to the Head Cook immediately
