Requirements
- BSc Hons in Clinical Physiology or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience in cardiac physiology.
- Extensive expertise in non-invasive and invasive cardiac diagnostic testing.
- Strong ability to work autonomously and manage workload efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in conveying complex information.
- Ability to work well under pressure and within a multidisciplinary team.
- Working knowledge of various IT systems.

About the Role
As the Lead Cardiac Physiologist (Education Specialist), the successful candidate will manage the training schemes for Cardiac Physiologists, including PTP, STP, and Apprenticeship programs. This role is crucial in ensuring the delivery of high-quality education within the department and maintaining excellent service standards for patients. The individual will be responsible for supervising and supporting participants in training programs, as well as current staff needing further educational opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage training programs for PTP, STP, and Apprenticeships.
- Provide supervision and support to trainees and current staff.
- Collaborate with the wider Cardiac Physiology team to maintain high service standards.
- Ensure consistent delivery of quality education across the department.
- Manage and organize educational resources and sessions effectively.
