Requirements

• Background in software engineering and software design
• Experience building applications in Java, ideally as microservices
• Understanding of software development best practices, including security, containerization, scaling, and resilience
• Experience with Test Driven Development or similar practices
• Experience working in agile teams and using agile processes such as Scrum or Kanban
• Proficiency with tools required to run and deliver software in agile teams, including automation pipelines

About the Role

As a Software Engineer specializing in Java microservices, you will engineer and maintain innovative, customer-centric, high-performance, secure, and robust solutions. You will be part of a feature team, leveraging your extensive experience to create complex software, scripts, and tools while collaborating with other engineers, architects, and business analysts across the platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include producing high-quality software rapidly, working within permanent teams responsible for the full lifecycle of development, and optimizing the software engineering capabilities of the team. You will be involved in all stages of the lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design to coding, testing, deployment, and operations.
