    Job Description

    LYPFT is seeking compassionate and experienced Support Workers to join their team. This role involves supporting individuals with learning disabilities within a supported living environment, promoting their independence, and assisting them in achieving personal goals. Ideal candidates will have experience in Positive Behavior Support (PBS) and postural management.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
    • Support residents in accessing community activities and services.
    • Follow support plans to promote independence.
    • Provide healthcare interventions and adhere to positive behavior support plans.
    • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with team members, families, and other professionals.
    • Encourage social interaction and help residents build relationships.
    • Offer emotional support and companionship.

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Previous experience working with individuals with learning disabilities.
    • Experience in a supported living environment.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Relevant qualifications in health and social care (e.g., Level 2/3 diploma in care or equivalent).
    • Flexibility to work various shifts, including early, late, night, weekends, and public holidays.
    • Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centered care.

    Compensation

    • Salary: £22,816 – £24,336 per year
